Bill McKibben is irrepressible. He is now off on a tour starting November 7 to visit 21 cities around the United States to campaign against the fossil fuel industry.
The campaign is called: “Do the Math.”
The underlying problem is America appears embarked on a suicide mission to dig up every bit of fossil fuel under its feet and burn it. If that happens, it is “game over” for the climate and life as we know it.
As McKibben says: “This won’t be easy: we’re up against the most profitable, powerful, and dangerous industry in history. But we have our own currency: creativity, courage and if needed, our bodies.”
